REKITA NELSON

Rekita is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in and has training in Pastoral Counseling. She enjoys working as an Outpatient Therapist serving Virginia, mainly the Hampton Roads area. Rekita has a Master of Arts in Counseling-Pastoral from Hampton University. She has a passion for working with millennials, teenagers, and young adults. She enjoys providing guidance as they discover who they are on their unique journey. Rekita has provided individual, group, and family counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. Rekita promotes a non-judgmental therapeutic experience while building the client’s up in their self-esteem, encouraging the client to be the best version of themselves, and helping clients to grow into their full potential, both mentally and spiritually. Spirituality is included in the therapeutic process, allowing you to gauge where you stand in that area of your life. Together, we will work through life’s stressors while overcoming challenging obstacles.
